Newsletter - November 2007 (Previous newsletter - Next newsletter)

Our profits for the year got a very nice boost in October when all our categories of information finished the month in front.

Our Horse Racing Best Bets & Sports Information produced a profit of more than 9 points which means our profits for the year now stand at just under 133 points!

There were fewer bets than average with our horse racing best bets but, with 2 nice priced winners from just 7 bets, they produced a profit of just over 5 points if betting at starting price and almost 8 points if taking the best early price.

As you know, all our published profits are calculated at SP because we feel that’s the fairest way to operate. However, if you are not beating the SP with almost every bet then you are letting a fortune slip through your fingers. And, to be honest, there really is no excuse for simply settling for the SP. After all, NPBet automatically pay the next best price on all SP bets!

NPBET - BEST PRICES 4 U.

In addition, Bet365 pay the Best Odds Guaranteed on all early prices and they were offering the best price on both our winners. Suzi Spends who won at 8/1 was available at 12/1 so they pay the early price of 12/1. And Midnight Gunner who won at 17/2 was available at 8/1 so they pay the SP of 17/2. It’s very much a heads you win, tails you can’t lose situation!

And don’t forget, the prices on Betfair are consistently better than with traditional bookmakers.

There were a total of 16 sports bets during the month, 5 of which produced a profit. So, after deducting all losses, our sports bets added just over 4 points to our overall profits.

Our golf bets proved rather frustrating although we did get a decent return from our each-way bet on 25/1 chance Heath Slocum in the Valero Texas Open. Still, it’s been a tremendous year for our golf bets so we really can’t complain!

Our other sports bets proved more successful and more than recovered our golf losses. The highlight of the month for me was Espanyol beating Valencia. I still can’t quite believe the bookmakers actually gave us 6/1.

After I decided to increase the staking levels on our Horse Racing System Bets & Football Singles it was almost inevitable that Murphy’s Law would come into play! And sure enough, we hit a poor patch almost immediately with 4 losers from 5 bets!

The first loser of the month was Harry Up on the 5th. This one looked all over the winner for most of the race but somehow managed to get beaten by a short head. It traded as short as 1.01 on Betfair so hopefully some of you made a decent profit by hedging in-running.

Our next bet, Armana, also finished 2nd the following day but we did have a winning football single the same day so there was some damage limitation. However, the very next day Liverpool were held to a draw by Tottenham and when Basic Fact could only manage the runners-up spot a few days later, it meant our betting banks had plunged by more than 25% by the 11th of the month!

The second half of the month was much better for us and, with 6 winners from our last 7 bets, we managed to secure a small profit overall.

Despite the losing run early in the month, this remains a very low risk staking strategy with tremendous potential for securing substantial long term profits!

For example, based on 10% stakes, the betting bank has increased by more than 70% so far this year. So if that rate of growth were maintained, a starting bank of £2,000 would grow to more than £50,000 in just 5 years!

And don’t forget, those figures are calculated at starting price. But, as explained earlier, it’s now impossible not to beat the SP!

Refer back to our last newsletter for a more detailed analysis of our past results and future profit forecasts.

I know a lot of you don’t like backing odds-on selections and therefore don’t follow this part of our service. Others joined purely for these bets!

Personally, I follow all the information as advised in the Operations Manual and I strongly recommend that every member does the same.

Our Weekend Football Fixed Odds Forecasts had a profitable month in October to give a healthy boost to our overall profits for the year!

We landed all six homes in the first week of the month which gave us a very nice return of just over 110 points.

In the same week we got a return of just over 34 points when we landed four of our five aways. Everton losing 3-2 at Newcastle cost us a further 128 points! Still, we also landed a nice treble in the same week so, all in all, we had plenty to celebrate!

A couple of weeks later we also landed four of our five aways. This time it was Hibernian losing 2-1 at Motherwell that cost us a bumper payout and we had to be content with another 34 point return.

We failed to get a return with our double result forecasts during the month but I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before we land a few more big wins with this particular bet. And with a bit of luck we might even hit the Jackpot again just like we did in April when we got a return of some 3200 points!

Don’t forget, although all our returns are calculated at Ladbrokes’ odds for simplicities sake, you should place your bets with whoever is offering the best odds each week.

Our Warm Horses provided us with quite a few decent winners in October. Most notably Rydal Mount at 11/1 (available at 20/1 early price) and Marked Man at 8/1 (available at 14/1 early price).

Both these bets were provided by our brand new source of information who also gave us our two recommended best bet winners, Midnight Gunner and Suzi Spends.

I must admit, after four big priced winners from four bets, I was beginning to think the ‘Holy Grail’ might just exist!

However, I was brought back down to earth when Wreningham, the fifth and final bet of the month from this particular source, lost!

Nevertheless, this one ran a superb race in defeat and held every chance inside the final furlong until weakening close home. He eventually finished a close 5th at 12/1. So, all in all, the information still looks to be spot on!

Other warm horses during the month included several winning ‘form’ bets including Time To Regret at 11/2, Lord On The Run at 4/1 and Herecomestanley at 3/1. And one of our longest serving professional contacts also gave us a couple of decent winners including Eva Soneva So Fast at 9/2.

So, overall, it was an excellent month for us in October and we look set for a very exciting and profitable end to what’s been another very successful year all round!

Well that’s all for now so until next time, enjoy your sport and stay lucky!Dave
